Allow us to introduce you to the wonderful domain of affordable art. We invite you to explore the world of 12th to 16th century illuminated manuscripts and create a link to the romantic medieval times.

When one starts out in this mixture of art, language and history, there is virtually no way one can learn the field of medieval manuscripts on their own. Over the past three years as we have been collecting these manuscripts, many good souls who have had a lifetime of experience have shared their knowledge with us. Competition is not like any other business because we all have a different product line, which we wish to share with the public. There is a limited supply of product and an unlimited demand within the confines of price.

After purchasing our first leaf, we realized we knew absolutely nothing about it except that we loved it just for the esthetics. Hooked was not the word, more like addicted to a medication giving us a wonderful euphoric high. The major difficulty of being an addict, especially "hooked" on collecting art, like any other addiction, the amount of money one has becomes limited. Hence came the formation of Griffon's Medieval Manuscripts, Inc.

In an effort to expose more potential collectors to this medium, we have strived to keep a moderately priced inventory. Many of our leafs are in conditions from fair to fine and are priced under $500. Certain leaves in our inventory can run as high as $15,000. These however, are the exception rather than the rule. They may be purchased either framed or unframed.
