Description:

Hand coloured. Provides a view of the ancient world north of the Equator. Inset in upper right hand corner presents India to Southeast Asia. Includes names of countries, cities, bodies of water, pictorial relief as well as longitudinal and latitudinal lines. Simple square cartouche in upper left corner. Some geographical details out of scale (Arabia) and position (Sicily) due to map’s orientation/perspective. Two sets of watermarks.
