This is a leaf of incunabula from St. AntioninusFlorentinus(Anthony Pierozzi 1389 - 1459) Archbishop of Florence's Chronicon or "Summa Historialis", which was a three volume world history beginning, in the Augustinian manner from creation, tracing the whole of biblical, pagan, and church history down to his own time.It was printed on July 31, 1484 in the city of Nuremburg, by the medieval printing giant Anton Koberger. The folio sized leaf measures 295 x 200 and contains 69-lines of gothic type (8 & 9) printed double column in Latin with versal indents & guide letters. The Verso: contains the same lines, type & layout.
