This double-page map presents the countries of Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand with lithographic colour differentiating the various geographical regions within. Bodies of Water featured include "Indian Ocean," "Coral Sea" and "South Pacific Ocean." Longitudinal and Latitudinal lines are clearly marked on each map with "Longitude East from Greenwich" at the top and "Longitude West from Washington" at the bottom. Inset of "Sydney and Port Jackson" along with a legend of important buildings and distance scale in English Miles is found in upper left corner. Inset of "New Zealand" along with distance scale in Statute Miles is found in lower right corner. Inset of "Tasmania" with "Scale Same as Australia" is found in lower centre. Map is in English. No compass rose is provided. Map orientation indicates the top border facing North. Distance scales in "Statute Miles" are found in upper left corner below the title. Major cities, towns, rivers and geographic terrain are identified. Details of "Australia" are found on the verso on pages 163, 166.
