This is a leaf of early printing from the 'Brevarium sexti et clementinarum'Which is a book containing the daily public or canonical prayers of the Roman Catholic Church for the seven canonical hours, namely, matins and lauds, the first, third, sixth, and ninth hours, vespers, and compline. It was printed by Nicholas Des Perez, Jean Petit & Francois Regnault in 1513 at Paris. The quarto size leaf measures 205 x 140 mm. in totality and contains 51-lines of gothic type printed double column in Latin. There is a 9-line historiated 'R' at the head of the left column. The Verso: contains the same lines, type and layout. This leaf contains a hint of foxing along the edges.
