Description:

Hand drawn and colored property borders, river, canal and railroad. Presents the Hess farmland surrounded by the properties of Adam R. Smith to the northwest, John Stoner, M. Ebersole and John Adams to the northeast, S. Ackerman to the southeast and the Susquehanna River to the southwest. Property is divided by the Pennsylvania Rail Road and the Pennsylvania Canal. Two buildings are shown on the Hess farm. This area is the northwestern most corner of Lancaster County. Title hand written at lower center. “Draft Jonas W. Hefs (Hess) Conoy Tnp, Lan, Co. Pe” on Verso. Folded in half and then in thirds without any loss. Some foxing.
