A miniature from an illuminated poetry manuscript, Moulana Noor-od-Din (Nuruddin) Abdorrahman Jami, North India, made for the Persian market, middle of the 18th century, on gold-sprinkled paper (210 x 140 mm.). There are twelve lines to the page written in two columns of elegant nasta'liq script in black ink, inter columnar rules decorated with floral motifs, corner pieces, headings and outer margins decorated with floral sprays and motifs in colors and gold throughout, inner margins ruled in colors and gold. Verso: twelve lines to the page written in two columns of elegant nasta'liq script in black ink; corner pieces, headings and outer margins decorated with floral sprays. Condition of this leaf is Fine [F].
